Live Music: Jared Blackstone

Jared Blackstone is a solo acoustic artist of East Coast origin. He puts his own signature sounds on rock, blues, and country covers from the fifties to today. From Cash to Nirvana, Luke Bryan to Bob Seager, variety is Jared’s forte.

First introduced to music at a young age, Jared owes his love of music to his parents ‘ country and folk roots. They were, and continue to be, active in the town’s church, bringing music and life to gatherings, which resulted in Jared’s first audiences.

At the age of 18, Jared found himself in NYC.  After years of playing in bars, making enough to survive the city, he had a record contract.

With the inevitable changes to the music scene in NYC, Jared craved a change in scenery and a fresh start, so in 2008 voyaged to the Valley of the Sun.  Phoenix proved to be a wise choice in relocation, allowing Jared to quickly form a band and launch his solo acoustic gigs soon after.  Catch him at wine bars, some of the Valley’s most luxurious resorts, Country and Rock bars, or entertaining clients at private parties and functions.
